This website has been launched to assist you in buying more affordable books,
directly from your fellow students and to sell books you do not need anymore to other students.
Follow the steps below to get started:
For Sellers:
Make a list of your books and contact student council
(bookspace@webstersc.org)
with the following information: Author, Issue (version, edition), Publication Year, Cover Type (paperback, hardcover, etc.) and the State of your book (new, used, highlights, pages missing, etc.)
A good Picture of the book would also be required. (If you have an online address for the picture would also be fine.) Obviously extra information such as the ISBN number, official website, number of pages, etc., would help the seeker in finding the proper match but kindly avoid sending too much information. Please remember to indicate “For Sale” in the subject field.
You have all rights to chose the price you desire for your item(s), but try to be reasonable. Buyers usually go for the most valuable item for the most reasonable price.
Note that you would be asked to deliver your book(s) to the Student Council and receive a receipt. As soon as someone buys your book(s), you would be contacted by the SC. You should keep the receipt and return it to the SC in order to receive your money.
For Buyers:
If you have found a book on the website which you would like to purchase, please take note of the Title and “Code” (i.e. A003) of the book in the details section and contact the SC
(bookspace@webstersc.org)
with your contact information (email address and cell number). Please remember to indicate “Purchase” in the subject field. You would be contacted regarding your selection soon.
WUV SC would not be able to process credit cards nor would be able to post purchased items to your address.
You would need to pay for the books that you have selected directly to the SC. More details will be sent to you after your contacted the SC regarding your request.
For Art Students:
Art Students are also welcome to put their art works for sale. If you fall under this category, please send a description of your work to
bookspace@webstersc.org
with "Art Work" in the subject field.
Note:
Since this website is not based aimed to process credit cards, acquiring a membership in the website is not mandatory nor would effect your purchase. However, becoming a member will help you save the items you like to purchase for later apply and also let others know what you think about that product by leaving reviews for the items.
